Attention Troop Leaders!

The Arts & Learning Conservatory can help you plan a fun and meaningful excursion for your troop! We ensure group discounts on tickets and can even help you earn a badge. We can fulfill all requirements for a Girl Scout Brownie & Junior badge, and help Cadets and Boy Scouts achieve their theater badges. If your group has these badges, and just wants a fun outing, you can reserve seats for any of our Productions. March 2010: Sherlock Holmes (a comedy).

Scout Dates Announced

Complete requirements in 2 memorable trips! You are invited to join the cast families & volunteers to a weekend rehearsal to get some hands-on theater experience. Then, round out your learning by attending our dynamic student production! All for just $18. Here are the steps:

Come to the first date:

• Saturday, February 20th from 9:30-11:30 am (location TBA)

On this day you will complete requirements:  #3 Character Charades, #4 Mirror Mimic, #5 How you Say It, #6 Mix It Up Make-Up

Choose a performance date at Seabreeze Auditorium, 18162 Gothard St, Huntington Beach, CA 92648

• Saturday, March 27th at 10 am for patch completion, show at 11am
• Saturday, March 27th at 3pm for patch completion, show at 4pm

On the performance day you will complete requirements: #8 Belt it Out, and #10 See it Live! Meet the cast and receive a wonderful theater experience.

Boys Scouts: Theater

Complete a portion of five requirements with A&L! You are invited to join our volunteer team and see quality children’s theater productions to complete requirements #1 and #3 (f,g) as well as participate in educational discussion to contribute to your requirements #4 and #5. ALL FOR JUST $18. Here are the steps:

Attend the Crew & Show days for #1, #3 (f,g) and #5. Prepare by researching stage terms:

• Feb. 20th 930am-11:30am at Arts & Learning Location: TBA (Sets and props, paint/design day)

  March 21st, 12:30 -4pm Load in at Seabreeze Auditorium, 18162 Gothard St, Huntington Beach, CA 92648

• Option of attending one of three shows at Seabreeze Auditorium, 18162 Gothard St, Huntington Beach, CA 92648
• • Saturday, March 27th at 10 am for patch completion, show at 11am
  • Saturday, March 27th at 3pm for patch completion, show at 4pm

Girl Scout Brownies: Try It - Dancercize (p24-25)

$18/person, including troop leader. Choose a performance date:

• Saturday, March 27th at 10 am for patch completion, show at 11am

Girl Scout Cadets: The Play’s the Thing

Complete a portion of your requirements with A&L Productions! You are invited to join our volunteer team and see quality children’s theater productions to complete your Skill Builder and Service Project tasks. ALL FOR JUST $18. Round out your learning by attending our dynamic student productions for the Skill Builder! Then you’ll have the tools & knowledge you need to complete the last two with your troop. Here are the steps:
